Škoda Octavia. Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Satnav update. I was at the stealers recently having a heating problem fixed and asked about the upgrade to the satnav. Nearly choked when they wanted £200 to do it. I have seen upgrade discs on Ebay are they any good.
Year: 161 Posted 16 January, 2016 Login with your VIN to the following; http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/ Input your vin and download the latest update cira. 14gb unpack onto an sd card and try that! A clean instal may help as copying form the sd card doesn't. 1 Model:When I ordered the car sat nav was included as a standard item (I have the configuration email). Obviously, as a standard item it doesn't then show up then on the official order as this only shows upgrades. In the time between order and delivery the sat nav has become an optional upgrade again. I have now been delivered a car with no sat nav

Now a third option, the Amundsen (RNS315). I really should have thought of this as the wife got a new Yeti SE Plus on Monday and it has Sat Nav & Bluetooth (not sure about DAB). I'm assuming this will support rear parking sensors, climate control etc (with VCDS). The OEM BT is going to be about £299 (car communications) or £288.45 (from poland).
But if you have an Amundsen sat nav then you MUST use a genuine Skoda SD card not a standard SD card. If that's what you need then they are much cheaper off eBay than from a dealer (£30 instead of £200). The updated maps and station logos can be downloaded off the Skoda portal free by entering your VIN number Skoda Update Portal. Cheers
