Far Cry 3. I recently got Far Cry 3 for free on pc, and it runs pretty bad. On directX 11 it runs from 20-30 fps, on directx 9 40-60, While directx9 runs better, it still doesn't run as good as I would have hoped. My main specs are 16 gb of ram, rx 560 4gb, and a ryzen 7 2700x with 8 cores and 16 threads.

Not sure. This is usually a pretty standard way to prevent crashes for many older PC titles. Browse to the Far Cry 3 .exe application launcher by going from Local Disk C > Program Files > Steam >steamapps > common > Far Cry 3 > bin. Find the .exe application file and put it under Windows 7 compatibility mode.
Even if it had made serious strides over Far Cry 3, even if the gameplay held true to the series's core, even if its story weren't junk, even if it had been put together perfectly, I would still find Far Cry 4 annoying as hell. It's not just that Ubisoft can't execute; it seems like they can't design anymore.
FC3 was free a while back (last year I think) but it was a glitch of some sort and not everyone got in on that deal. It was free for a limited time I think for Japanese users (don't quote me on that part) and it wasn't meant to be a world-wide promotion like this one is. -4.

Yes, you can free roam, but don't expect to have much to do in a world void of enemies. Unless you're on PC and install a mod maybe. Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. Allow a player to explore the world but take out all the enemies in said world.
I got the game after purchasing far cry 5 bundle and now I'm finally playing it, but the game runs like ♥♥♥♥ and crashes for no apparent reason every 20-30 mins. I get maybe 70 fps on fc3 but on fc5 i get like 140+. specs AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Radeon 6800xt 32 gbs ram lots of storage I know that my hardware works though, as i have 0 problems with any other game.
