The Fiat I used to have, had an aluminium plate with the VIN number stamped on it, riveted on the firewall left side. The vin started with the number 500 (Model name) I do not remember finding the number any other place on the car. This is what I have found out. It is on the tag on the firewall and the engine block.
Everything from the chassis and body upwards appears to have been thoroughly overhauled and renovated, ditto the 500’s rear-mounted two-cylinder 500cc engine, suspension, brakes and electronics.
After chasing down individual posts via search and creative search terms, I would love a single thread with pictures and info on wheels that fit our cars. Seen it on most of the other forums I have frequented, curious why there is not one here
